Brights Zoo is a privately owned zoo. Therefore, the zoo does not receive state, local or federal funding of any kind. All admissions proceeds goes directly towards caring for the animals and upkeep of the zoo. This includes animal housing, appropriate diet, veterinary care, new exhibit and design for all maintenance of the facility.

Community Service Hours: For students needing community service hours please contact David Bright. There are many times we can help you get those hours. Must be in highschool or college to participate. The best way to contact David is via email. Please provide as much information in your email as possible.

Volunteers: We have volunteer opportunities from time to time as well as year round volunteers. For more information on the volunteer program please email David Bright. In the email let us know how many hours a month you are willing to volunteer at the zoo, what type of things you would like to do at the zoo and any animal experience you may have.
