2021 Boo at the Zoo
As we all know and understand Covid19 has affected events across the globe. Brights Zoo is coming back with another great Boo at the Zoo event. Last year we changed the format to offer a great opportunity to visit the zoo and make sure that kids get to leave with a bag full of candy.
Brights Zoo will have two sessions on Saturday, October 30th. The first session will start at 10:00 am and end at 1:00 pm. The zoo will close from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm in order to sanitize everything. The next session will start at 2:00 pm and end at 5:00 pm.
You MUST attend during the session time for the ticket you purchase, you cannot switch to another session due to the limit of 500 people in the Zoo.
Members can pre-purchase tickets for $8.00 (tax included).
Non-members can pre-purchase tickets for $12.00 tax included.
Ticket purchases are required for ages 2 and up.
Children two under are free, but will still be counted toward our maximum total of 500 visitors per session. Please request a ticket for your under 2 child when you purchase an adult ticket.
Once the 500 ticket allotments for each session are sold, pre-sale tickets will end.
No other discounts are offered for these tickets – the price shown is the only price available.
To explain the time slots in more detail:
If you have a ticket for the 1st time slot of 10:00 to 1:00, remember the Zoo will close at 1:00 pm and all guests will be asked to exit the Zoo. So, please be sure to allow at least 1 and half hours to visit the zoo.
Brights Zoo will still have the zoo decorated for the event. The annual pumpkin carving contest as well as our costume contests for different age groups will still take place.
Kids 2-12 will receive a bag of candy as they exit the zoo.
Door prize drawings will occur during each session.
Pumpkin Carving Contest:
Guests can drop their pumpkin off upon check-in and will be judged at the end of the day.
We will photo anyone wishing to participate in the costume contest and contact winners the day after the event.
Must be original art: Drawings, Paintings, or Photography.
Guess how many pieces are in the jar – winner announced the next day.
